| Living Blocks
Living Blocks can be found in each non-city area of Monster and Me, with the exception of a few areas. If you're a Guild Leader or Counselor, then you can add a Living Block to your area if you own one. (Check AAA Guild Guide for Information).
Living Blocks allow you to set up to 4 neighbourhoods which are connected to your area through the Living Block, people can build their own pieces of land and homes in neighbourhoods.
Obtaining a Living Block
A Guild Leader or Counselor may go to Lord Lin in the Forbidden Palace, Northern Scenery and purchase a Building Permission for 5,000,000 silvers. With it, you'll be able to set up a Living Block for the area you own.
Of course, you'll also need a Land Developing License! This will only cost you 100,000 silvers. Once you have this license you'll be able to create pieces of land for people to place their own homes on.
Purchasing a House
- Find Lord Huang in the Forbidden City, Northern Scenery to visit and explore the houses. You'll need to choose an "A" rank model to begin with. The cost to purchase one is 5,000,000 silvers. Once you've paid, you'll receive the "Blueprint".
- Go to a Living Block, either your own one, a living block from your guild or a living block with free land spaces, and right click a "Land" plot and purchase it for 200,000 silvers. Tip: You may need to ask your Guild Leader to create a piece of land for you, using their Land Developing License as described above.
- Right click your newly fenced land plot, then the developing menu will open. You'll have the chance to build your house now if you've already bought the 5,000,000 "Blueprint" as described in step one.
- Every 5 days you'll need to pay 50,000 silvers for the upkeep of your home, which will go to the guild of the area you're living in.
Managing a Home
Right click your home to open up the menu, you can do several things from the house menu:
- Pay your management fee, it costs 50,000 silvers per 5 days, and you can pay up to 30 days in advance.
- Produce a key to give to your friends who can access your home, this costs 1,000 silvers per key.
- Demolish your home and return the plot to the guild, and receive 50,000.
- Change the locks of your house for 10,000 silvers and the former key becomes invalid.
Click fenced plot, you will find a menu including Building House, Paying for Managing Fee, Returning a Plot. If you have Construction Drawing, you can start building a house. Click paying for managing fee, you will be charged ?50,000 at a time, 5 days of managing fee, you can pay up to 30 days of managing fee. Click Returning a Plot and you return your plot to your guild, and receive ?50,000.
Having built a house, you can click it to check payment status, pay managing fee, enter and remove the house, find key, etc.
Upkeep of your home
- If you fail to pay your managing fee and you're 10 days behind, then you'll no longer be able to enter your home.
- If you fail to pay your managing fee and you're 2- days behind, the guild may choose to take your home away if they so desire.
Decorating and other information
- You can visit Lord Chen in the Forbidden City to enter the various furniture shops, you can buy lots of beautiful pieces of furniture to create a beautiful home. Once you've bought the furniture, enter your home and double click the item from your inventory to place and move the furniture.
- You can purchase chests, you can store items in chests. The higher your house rank is, the more chests that you may place. To begin with, you may only place two chests.
- Your spouse has free access to your home, so be careful.
